***NOTE*** – Occasionally we retain a male or female for our own breeding/titling/protection/competition program. These dogs have distinguished themselves from an early age and were therefore, retained by our own program. These dogs are not listed for sale but we may consider selling some of our dogs in our training programs occasionally, from time to time. Sometimes they are picked as “Pick of the Litter”. Other times, the person who picks does not pick what we would have picked. In these situations, if a puppy seems to distinguish themselves from the rest of their peer group, we will retain him/her. All selections take place on or AFTER the 7th week. When the deposits are made, no specific puppy has been selected by anyone. Which puppy goes to who is not decided until the 7th week of age. Priority is given based on matching the best and ideal puppy with the criteria that the new owner is looking for. However, in the event of a “tie”, priority is based on order of deposit. Pick of the Litter get’s first priority obviously. For example, if we have 3 people that say they want the largest male puppy from the litter with the highest ball drive, we will evaluate the puppies for those specific criteria. The puppy fitting that criteria the most will be placed first with “Pick of the Litter”, then with the person who placed the deposit the earliest.

Balko is an incredibly beautiful, energetic, high drive, large male who is agile and has competed multiple times in the LGA in Germany. Balko is still in Germany so this breeding will not be repeated. He is a lacquer black male with an intense head and from parents that were recognized as being very civil. We specifically sought out this male to be bred with Isa prior to her coming to the USA because of his temperament and demeanor are something that we wanted to include in our breeding program.
Isa is a larger sized, stunningly gorgeous female who is very civil. She is an IPO 3, (new classification equivalent to SchH3), KKl1, V rated (excellent in structure) dog borne from the legendary Herkules, one of the most well known police dogs in Germany that was fully titled and used extensively for breeding for his size and civilness. Isa is large boned, very strong, graceful and high drive female with a thick, beautiful neck and a medium to short coat. She weighs about 80 lbs, also 100% of German stock with Pink papers. She has one of the prettiest, yet very well formed, strong and intense heads of any German Shepherd we’ve had. She is highly dominant and intense, yet has impeccable manners and obedience. Of course, she is also a Paska grand daughter and was the primary reason we pursued the previous owner to purchase her. By definition, she has one of the highest pedigree quality anywhere in the world because she has Paska on her mothers side and Herkules as her father. Isa is just another example of an incredible dog where the pictures do not do her any justice what so ever. Video and additional pictures will be put up soon.
This combination of Balko and Isa will give medium to short coat dogs with high drive and competition potential or excellent protection dogs that will have a lot of natural civil tendencies. Of course, all of our dogs make the best companion dogs or family pets as well but this litter will be able to potentially do anything that they are trained to do.
